Living the existential crisis through quotes

It is funny how quotes can play good cop – bad cop routine with our heads, that are ridden with the problems of existential crisis.

At one moment it is :

“Stop acting so small. You are the universe in ecstatic motion.”

Rumi

And in the immediate next moment it is :

“Our lives are but specks of dust falling through the fingers of time. Like sand of the hourglass, so are the days of our lives.”

Socrates

Which means even the mood is ours to decide. We can let ourselves fall into the dark abyss or can decide to rise like a soul with purpose. It ultimately becomes a matter of prerogative that forever lies with us.
